Timothy Ogbiti, popularly known as Timimouth, is a Nigerian entertainment producer and event organiser whose work has included comedy, theatrical productions and platforms for emerging performers.

Born on March 1, 1986, in Orile-Igomu, Lagos State, Timothy is a native of Iyerekwu South Ibie in Edo State. His career spans entertainment production and academic training in occupational health, safety and environmental management.

Timothy attended the University of Benin in Edo State, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Computer Science in 2013. He later earned a Master of Science degree in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom in 2024.

In 2020, Timothy also completed the “Let’s Break the Chain of COVID-19” awareness programme offered by Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

His involvement in entertainment dates back to school and family performances. In an interview published by The Nigerian Voice on August 18, 2015, Timothy recalled organising holiday concerts with relatives and coordinating events at Ijegun Comprehensive High School in Lagos.

The interview also documented his work with Event Planers Entertainment Niger Productions, known as E.P.E.Niger Productions. Timothy said the organisation initially focused on theatrical productions addressing social issues, including unemployment, child abuse and HIV-related concerns. Comedy became a more prominent part of its activities as audiences responded to the humour incorporated into the productions.

Timothy also discussed Standup Nigeria, a monthly comedy programme that he said had been running for three years at the time of the interview. His account highlighted efforts to provide emerging comedians with opportunities to perform and gain exposure. Performers mentioned in the interview included Casino, Pikolo, Maliki and Efex.

In July 2016, The Nigerian Voice published a further report about Timothy’s involvement in Mega Praise and Laughter, a programme combining Christian praise, encouragement and comedy.

Beyond live entertainment, Timothy described E.P.E.Niger Productions as undertaking event filming, documentary production and television and radio programming.

As Nigeria’s entertainment industry continues to evolve through digital platforms, new production models and growing opportunities for international audiences, Timothy’s experience across entertainment production and professional education provides a foundation for his next chapter. His journey from organising performances to building entertainment platforms, alongside his academic progression into occupational health, safety and environmental management, reflects a career that extends beyond a single professional field
