Help Give Succour To Comfort
THIRTEEN-year-old Comfort Obiegba, a Junior Secondary School (JSS3) pupil of Crescent International School, Sango Ota, Ogun State needs N5 million to undergo surgery in India to regain her health.
Comfort has a clinical history of swelling of the parietal bone. She has been living in pains due to the problem which started like headache and later turned to severe eye pains.
“I am suffering from weakness of the body, noise in the ears. The sickness has degenerated in the last four months. I have since stopped going to school,” she lamented.
Her unemployed father, John explained that Comfort has been finding life difficult since the illness started.
“We did the first test for N71,200 at Me Cure Healthcare Limited, Oshodi, Lagos. She is billed for another test which will cost N80,000. I don’t know how to get it unless help comes from well-meaning Nigerians,” he said.
Her mother, Esther, a teacher at Local Government School 2, Sango Ota, is equally calling for help from benevolent Nigerians.
Medical reports from a Consultant Radiologist at Me Cure Healthcare, Dr Puneet Jalan revealed that
serial axial CT sections of the brain shows that the cerebral hemispheric parenchyma is normal, no focal lesions identified in the brain parenchyma; brain stem and cerebellum appear normal; bilateral basal ganglia and thalami appear normal; ventricles and cisterns appear normal; no evidence of abnormal extra-axial collection seen; bony skull vault and skull base appear normal.
