Mayowa Nicholas is the Oluchi and Agbani of our time with a little extra. The ebony beauty has gone farther than any other Nigerian model that we know of. Mayowa has been mentioned alongside Kendall Jenner in Vogue as one of the top models to watch out for.
She recently featured in Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2016-2017 fashion show as well as the luxury brand’s recent campaign, making her mark as the first African to do so.
On the list of many firsts for Mayowa is the monochrome YSL campaign by new creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Shot in Paris by the American artist Collier Schorr. The black-and-white pictures capture 15 new faces, and focus very much on the faces and we all know how our girl slays with head shots.
