
Testifying at the ongoing trial of the proprietor of Richmond Open University Enugu, Mazi Chris Okoro, before Justice A. M. Liman, Orji stated that investigation undertaken by the Commission revealed that Okoro’s qualification was acquired from a commercial secondary school in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
Yet, he was the Proprietor, Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Academic Director of the institution.
The witness further told the court that Okoro was solely responsible for awarding academic degrees and certificates to unsuspecting members of the public. These were made to believe falsely that a judgment delivered by Justice Allagoa (suit no FHC/EN/CS/76/2006)
