Nigerians favourite dish, Jollof rice, is in the news again. Only this time, it is not a battle with our neighbouring country, Ghana. It is a post by @CBeebiesHQ on how to prepare Jollof which they titled Joll Off rice. CBeebiesHQ is BBC’s parenting preschool channel.
In the video, they teach that you put your mixed concoction in the oven.

One thing missing in the video; they omitted the bit where it should have said "PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME" 😆🤣

Lmao this is not 'Nigerian Joll Of' this one na Indian tin tomato casserole. Cultural appropriation at it's finest. Thumbs up colonizers, there's no limit to your thievery

I tried not to judge too hard but who they put the pot in the OVEN I nearly punched my screen. Instead of them to just use an actual Nigerian we get Susan from Worcestershire on the cutting board and her husband Gavin narrating it. Absolutely ridiculous 🙄
