Eminent dignitaries from all walks of life are being expected at the 25th anniversary celebration of leading sixth-form school, Oxbridge Tutorial College, Ikeja, which has produced over 3,000 students since its establishment.

According to the founder and Managing Director of the college, Dr. Femi Ogunsanya, the college has produced students who have progressed to top universities in different parts of the world, and concluded their studies with either a first or a second upper in their respective fields.

He added that their journeys have culminated in these students either becoming renowned entrepreneurs or leaders in various blue chip companies at home and abroad.

Ogunsanya, in a statement said, “Having prepared students for post-secondary education and contributed significantly to the building of the nation’s human capital development, Oxbridge Tutorial College, Ikeja is set to roll out the drum in celebration of its 25th anniversary. The leading sixth-form college has every reason to celebrate this notable milestone.

“With this in mind, the institution is entering into the second quarter of a century with the theme “Marching forward with commitment and excellence,” Ogunsanya added.

The founder while highlighting the activities lined up for the silver jubilee said the event started last Friday with an art competition by students of the college at its premises in Ikeja. Officials from the Northern Consortium of UK universities (NCUK) were at the event to serve as judges. 
 
A prayer and praise afternoon was held yesterday featuring a popular gospel artist, BJ Sax while the grand finale will be the anniversary thanksgiving service and graduation ceremony of the class of 2018 which would be held at the Archbishop Vining Cathedral Church, GRA Ikeja on Friday, April 27.

The reception follows with dignitaries expected from different walks of life, such as top government functionaries, British Council officials, Heads of Schools, Captains of Industries, parents, college alumni and a host of others.

While congratulating the founder for her exemplary leadership, the management, staff and students of the college wished the institution glorious heights in the future.
