The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ekiti State, Mr. Akinloye Ayegbusi, has blamed all levels of government for the plight of children in the country.

The SDP candidate said he would sponsor a bill to the state House of Assembly to ban street hawking by children of school age, adding that the parents of such children would also be sanctioned.

Ayegbusi lamented that children still suffer child labour, domestic violence and deprivations caused by poverty and ignorant in Nigeria.
