
The Magistrate, Mr Banji Ayeomoni, ordered that the accused, who pleaded not guilty as charged, be remanded until Dec. 10 for further hearing.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the accused persons, of no fixed addresses and occupations, are standing trial on a three-count charge of felony, stealing and unlawful possession of property.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp. Zedekiah Orogbemi, had told the court that the accused persons and two others at large, on Nov. 9 around 10:00a.m. at Broad Plantation along Aye Road, conspired to commit felony.
He said that the accused persons conspired to sell the two stolen motorcycles, valued at N260,000, belonging to Tajudeen Orimisan and Sina Oyedele respectively.
Orogbemi said that the offences contravened Sections 516, 390 (9) and 430 (1) Criminal Code, Caps.37, Vol.1, Laws of Ondo State 2006.
