NCC, NDA to deploy technology for military capacity building
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA) have agreed to collaborate on boosting the defence institution with high-profile technology.
This follows the realisation that modern day military intelligence and battles could be prosecuted through technology, rather than just weapons.
Executive Vice Chairman (EVC) of NCC, Prof. Umar Garba Danbatta, disclosed this in a meeting with the Commandant of NDA, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade, at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.
He told his guests at the weekend that his experience as a visiting professor to the NDA showed that the NDA University has military precision tradition and strict adherence to timelines on academic activities, but not exempted from checks and balances.
