FEMA recovers dead body, rescues three in Abuja communities’ flood

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has successfully recovered one dead body and rescued three others alive as a result of the flood in Kuruduma and Koji communities in Abuja Municipal Area (AMAC).

The FCT Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Spokesperson, Emeka Iwuagwu, who confirmed the incident, told The Guardian that the body was recovered after several hours of search through the water channels.

Iwuagwu also said that about three persons were rescued alive, immediately FEMA received distressed calls and rushed to the communities.
