It is the political season of declarations and swapping of political seats. Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has declared his intentions to run for a seat at the Senate in 2019.
While in some countries, it is a normal journey for politicians to create a political resume by advancing in politics, in Nigeria, it raises questions on the motive.
Some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts on Okorocha’s political intentions.

Please on behalf of Nigerians, who did we offend? How may we appease you? How can one country be ridiculed this much? How did we end up with these garbages as leaders?

Retirement home of governors! They cannot develop their states, but they will run to the Senate to do what? Provide strategies in how to move the nation forward? Nigeria needs a revolution!
