THERE was a partial compliance with the new fuel price of N86 per litre yesterday in Plateau State.

The motorists, who bought the fuel, were government officials from Abuja.

But it was sold to them under secrecy and not to the public at that rate. Members of the public were still buying the product at between N87 to N100 per litre.

The motorists spoken to said that they were on a long journey and could not join the long queues for official rate but had to buy at exorbitant rate to enable them to continue their journey.
