The Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice (CHRSJ) yesterday chided the Federal Government for its failure to rescue Hauwa Liman, an aid Health worker with the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) who was killed by Boko Haram.

It said allowing the terrorists to carry out their threat, after several notices showed that President Muhammadu Buhari has failed the country failed the nation as a democratically elected president and was leading a failed government.

The group also maintained that the cruel murder of Liman confirmed that President Buhari lacked capacity to protect the lives and property of Nigerians, as enshrined in the 1999 Constitution, stressing that he (Buhari) lacked capacity to continue as the nation’s leader beyond 2019.

In a statement issued by the CHRSJ’s Executive Chairman, Adeniyi Alimi Sulaiman, he condemned the presidency for not being proactive enough to secure the late aid worker from Boko Haram’s captivity in spite of the huge allocations for the security of the country in the budget.
