Chairman of Victims Support Fund (VSF), a presidential committee on rebuilding insurgents-ravaged areas in North-East, Lt.-Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (rtd), has warned teachers and school managers in the region against diverting schools’ learning materials donated by his committee.

Danjuma, who spoke yesterday in Gaya-Faya Village in Hong Local Council of Adamawa State during the flag-off of the education support project in the North-East, said that the school materials donated and the rebuilding of the destroyed schools together with furniture were meant to fast-track the return of school children back to classrooms.

The chairman, represented by a member of the board of VSF, Mr. Sunday Oibe, said the committee would not tolerate any act that could affect the efforts of the committee.
