The kidnapped Pastor and General Overseer of the Bible Christian Crusade Mission (BCCM), Calabar, Pastor Joseph Okoro has regained his freedom.

He was on Wednesday evening kidnapped by unknown gunmen in his church premises at 55 Weber Street and taken to an unknown location.The Police Public Relations Officer in Cross River State, Irene Ugbo confirmed the development but added that no ransom was paid.

His release was facilitated by the efforts of the officers of State Police Command in Calabar. Ugbo declined to give details on how the pastor was released.
