A burglar went in to steal in Birmingham at the strangest of places.

Unlike the common stories we hear of burglary, a burglar Kasim Khuram has pleaded guilty to sleeping with a corpse after checking out “multiple coffins” at a funeral parlour.

According to The Independent, the 23-year-old admitted to breaking in to steal on the 11th of November.

And if that was not strange enough, the Independent reports that the 23-year-old who also admitted to breaking in to steal gave a thumbs-up to his supporters during his hearing at the Birmingham Crown Court.

And while you clasp your mouth, you should know that the judge adjourned his sentencing to get a psychiatric report until 31st of January.

Khuram was also warned that he faces a “substantial” term in court.
