The project awarded to TEC Engineering Ltd, will stretch over an estimated 2.5 kilometers.
A statement issued by Director General, Media and Publicity, to the state Governor, Aminu Yasser, said the project entails among other components, nine clovers–four at Kofar Mata junction; four at Ado Bayero road (Singer)/Ibrahim Taiwo road; and one at Kofar Mata by Sani Abacha stadium.
Speaking during the signing of the contract, the state Commissioner for Works, Engr. Aminu Aliyu who entered the agreement on behalf of the state government, said the project was specifically conceived by the Ganduje administration to enhance high-speed vehicular traffic, with all traffic flow and ingress/egress regulated as well as ensuring commuter safety.
