Photo TWITTER/INECNIGERIAA non-governmental organisation, United Global Resolve for Peace (UGRFP), has called on Nigerians to shun violence, while also urging politicians to stop vote buying during the general elections.
Executive Director, UGRFP, Shalom Olaseni in a statement at the weekend said the sanctity of the poll would be assured when the election is free, fair, credible and peaceful.
Olaseni said: “We all have this historic opportunity to be a part of the solution to our motherland for a safe and prosperous country, where the rule of law, justice and liberty reign supreme by turning out in our numbers to vote. And while doing that, shun all form of violence and the exchange of votes for money and other items.”
