Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) Coordinator, TPl, Umar Shuaibu has revealed that the council succeeded in saving over N300m from refurbishing its 24 utility vehicles with N6.7m in the last one year.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja, yesterday, after inspection of the vehicles, Shuaibu said: “faced with many grounded vehicles and limited resources, the council decided to initiate a direct labour strategy for restoring to life the agency’s broken down vehicles and machinery, rather than procuring new ones.
