A statement issued by Spokesman of To Build A Nation (TBAN), Jide Akintunde, quoted Moghalu as saying: “The Ra’ayi guest lecture series has over the years provided a platform for robust dialogue on the socio-economic development of Kano.
“I am delighted to contribute to the dialogue this year. I have a special affinity for Kano and look forward to engaging the people of the great city again.”
The late President Umaru Yar’Adua appointed Moghalu, a renowned political economist and development thinker as Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2009, During his five-year tenure, Moghalu served with former CBN Governor and Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II.
Professor Kabiru Isa Dandago, a former Commissioner of Finance, Kano State will chair the lecture.
