
Nnamani, who represents Enugu East Senatorial District, stated this at a media briefing in Abuja, saying he was confident that the Senate under the leadership of Senator Ahmad Lawan, would serve as veritable platform to drive the debate.
He said rather than engage in the basic bread and butter politics, educated advocacy on how to make the Nigerian project work better would be the central focus of the ninth National Assembly.
“My coming to the Senate on a second missionary journey is driven by a greater sense of the need for the ‘sleeping giant’ called Nigeria to wake up from its slumber,” he said.
