Guinea drew 2-2 with Madagascar in their opening game and Put knows that a defeat would condemn them to an early exit from the showpiece in Egypt.
Put told guineefoot.info, “I know I have a big game to play on Wednesday against Nigeria. Today the group that did not start the match against Madagascar trained and the other group worked in the massage room.
“Nigeria is a great team, and it is up to us to be bigger.’’
On the strategy for Wednesday’s game, Put said: “To tackle the match against Nigeria, now, we must analyze the first game, correct the mistakes we made against Madagascar. We must utilise our opportunities against Nigeria, but they will not give much either. If we give gifts to Nigeria, it will be complicated.”
Nigeria have faced Guinea 17 times in the past, winning five, drawing seven and losing five.
