Members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in the House of Representatives yesterday backed Mr. Ndudi Elumelu-led occupants of the minority leadership seats in the lower legislative chamber.

The Elumelu-led group comprises Tobi Okechukwu (Deputy Minority Leader), Gideon Gwani (Minority Whip) and Adesegun Adekoya (Deputy Minority Whip).Spokesperson for the group, Mr. Lego Idagbo, who spoke with journalists at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja, said that the Mr. Uche Secondus-led National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP erred in law over its attempt to foist Mr. Kingsley Chinda-led group on them in violation of the House Standing Rules.The group, therefore, urged the PDP to rescind its decision to suspend Elumelu-led group.
