Kogi indigenes based in Ekiti State have declared support for the reelection of Governor Yahaya Bello in November governorship election.
The people, under the aegis of Kogi Youths in Ekiti, comprising the three major ethnic groups; Ebira, Igala and Okun, said they took the action to save the state from sliding into political instability that had held it down since creation in 1991.
In a statement signed by the group’s President, Mr. Nasir Suleiman, yesterday, in Ado Ekiti, the group said that the second term of the governor would afford him the opportunity to complete his landmark projects dotted across the state.
