On January 19, 2023 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergey Terentiev, met with the Minister of the Environment of Egypt, Yasmine Fouad.
The Ambassador congratulated the Minister on the successful holding of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
The parties discussed the state of the Belarusian-Egyptian cooperation in the field of environmental protection. J.Fuad expressed readiness to cooperate with Belarus in priority areas, in particular, biodiversity conservation, efficient and safe waste management, water and air purification.
