HE Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari met Monday via videoconferencing with HE the UK Government Spokesperson to the Middle East and North Africa Rosie Dyas.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to enhance cooperation in the media and the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, and the latest regional developments.

The Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson stressed that the State of Qatar welcomes the British fans in the World Cup, noting the readiness of the State of Qatar to organize a unique and safe tournament.

He pointed out that the championship will reflect the region's legacy, considering that the State of Qatar's hosting of the championship means that it is for all Arabs.
