As cryptocurrency continues to gain wide acceptance and penetration across the world, so are the young minds deepening its usage as means of exchange transaction in the 21st century.
Nigerians youths, a set of regenerated minds, are usually found at the centre of where value adding is core. A number of them have been the dividing line between the old and new order of commerce, establishing thriving crypto platforms and fintech companies. One of those redefining how services are exchanged is CEO of Kiingpay Nigeria Ltd, King Godswill Nwaeze, better known as Only1King.
Only1Kiing hails from Ihitteuboma Local Government Area of Imo State, , though he was born in neighbouring Abia State. A public public and entrepreneur, Only1King is the second of six siblings, comprising three boys and three girls.
King Godswill Nwaeze is a classic example of the modern global trend of emerging young entrepreneurs who, despite the lack of opportunity to have as much education as they would have desired, are managing directors of enterprises, as seen in the case of some international figures who never completed tertiary education, however, own and major shareholders in global tech companies.
Only1King attended Osusu Primary School in Isialangwa North Local Government Area of Imo, apparently before his secondary education at Aleto Secondary School in Nchia, Eleme, in Rivers State.
Speaking In an interview, Only1King said that vision, purpose and the foresight to improve global exchange of goods and service brought him into crypto coaching and trading.
“I’ve always wanted to advance the globe financially because that’s the reason I became a crypto expert and financial coach. You can call me Jack of all trades. I trade the financial market such as crypto and forex etc, real estate and agriculture to mention a few for now.
“I think out of the box, I build more of tech projects so I have no limits because I can be heard and patronized globally without any local restrictions”, Only1King stated.
Continuing, the CEO of Kingpay said, “I chose to trade in crypto because it gives financial freedom without limits. In the crypto space, one has the hope of becoming a millionaire over night and also losing your worth in minutes. The resourceful and highly business-inclined personality is also the founder of Roybits. He is a classic case of slow and steady wins the race. Like many of us, life threw challenges into pans for us to fry, and the amount of patience, perseverance and determination we exerted decided what we turned those obstacles into.
“Well I came from a place where there’s no support. I did a lot of local businesses from little such as purewater hawking, selling of firewoods, selling of birds, flowers and also did a gateman/security work etc, just to make my daily bread. I did all that trying to be financially free”, said Only1king.
Continuing, he said, “the challenges i encountered were many but i didn’t give up. No one believed that i was making sense then but today, the crypto market is taking over. One of the challenges to expect is liquidation, getting broke but not for too long and success”.
Reflecting on business and how far he has come, the Kiingpay managing director revealed that his biggest breakthrough was when he made $100,000 in crypto asset which was stolen by his bosom friend.
He added that the greatest virtue his parents raised him with is the fear of God and was taught contentment.
“The most touching story of my life was when my best friend stole my crypto assets,” he said.
