Godswill Igbokwe, the visionary founder and CEO of Alphalink Group, a leading Pan-African conglomerate specializing in engineering, procurement, and real estate services, has been honoured with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Peace Education and International Relations. The prestigious award was presented by the United Nations POLAC on December 14, 2024, in a ceremony held at the Function Room of Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.
The event, organized in alignment with the UN General Assembly Declaration for Peace and Non-Violence, recognized Igbokwe’s tireless efforts in advocating for peace, social harmony, and sustainable development. Speaking on the occasion, Igbokwe expressed deep gratitude and commitment:

It reinforces the values I live by—the importance of ensuring peace is at the forefront of everything we do, both in our businesses and our communities.”
Igbokwe emphasized that the honorary degree is not only a personal accolade but also an invitation to deepen his commitment to peacebuilding and global collaboration. “I’ve always believed that the greatest form of leadership is that which uplifts the community, fosters dialogue, and seeks cooperative solutions to challenges that affect all of humanity. This recognition serves as a reminder of the greater responsibility we all bear to influence positive change and unite people across nations and cultures.”
