EMCOAN re-elects Ologeh president as Ossai becomes member, BOT 

The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN) has re-elected Jibe Ologeh as the president of the association. 
 
A statement by EMCOAN President, Jibe Ologeh and Secretary General, Stephen Alayande, said the association, which boasts of controlling over 80 per cent of electronic broadcast content in Nigeria had been at the forefront of churning out majority of the content on television and radio stations pan Nigeria.
 
Similarly, EMCOAN, also elected Emeka Ossai as a new member of the Board of Trustees (BOT).
 
The statement explained that Ossai is a veteran in the media and broadcast content industry with many productions to his credit.
 
It stated that he is one of the core founders of the association and had been very instrumental to the success stories of EMCOAN. 
   
Other members of the newly elected executive are Theophilus Akatugba (Vice President); Stephen Alayande (General Secretary); Ugwu Chinedu (Public Relations Officer); Akpezi Agarry-Oke (Financial Secretary) and Longe Omolaja (Social Welfare Officer).
 
In her acceptance speech, Ologeh expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in her by the re-election for another tenure of two years. 
 
She promised that with their usual support and co-operation, EMCOAN will soar to higher heights.

The statement recalled that it was in her first tenure that EMCOAN was recognised as a sectoral body of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).
 
Meanwhile, other members of the BOT include Agatha Amata and Opa Williams.
