Foundation, Citibank train youths on leadership skills

The Growing Businesses Foundation (GBF), Citibank and a firm, Ingressive and Rising Tide Africa has collaborated to train young entrepreneurs and youths on leadership skills.

The event, which was held in Lagos at the IBM Innovation Center, Victoria Island, had Digital Leadership as its theme.With over 100 persons in attendance, the training had entrepreneurs consisting of developers and designers, corporate partners, while the students were trained to build a supportive ecosystem for innovation. 

The students were also introduced to contents on enlightenment and exposure to concepts that will prove useful as they advance, in addition to access to potential mentors. 

The sessions had those who had ventures into their own businesses and those who already had a career path.GBF and Citibank have supported the misrepresented populations in Nigeria over the years including teens, students, and women.

According to the GBF, “The content and presenters for the digital leadership “Mini-Master class” supplemented the GBF’s business concepts by teaching our attendees how to build a sustainable customer base and employ lean operation strategies through readily available technology.”
