Foundation grooms youths on path to brighter future

Clinic Foundation has mapped out plans to empower youths to chart their paths to a brighter future. At a one-day training to uncover their God-given talents, tagged ‘The King in You,’ the foundation’s Chief Director, Oluwatosin Ladipo, said the aim was for the youths to discover themselves and maximise their potential for the betterment of society.

Held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), New Life Parish, in Lagos, notable speakers shared with the youths their life stories, challenges, and how they waded through before becoming what they are today.

They urged them to work hard and jettison the idea of get-rich-quick syndrome that had pushed many youths to indulge in nefarious acts. One of the resource persons and Global NGO and Executive Committee (GNEC), London, Olasubomi Aina, said a lot of youth do not want to learn these days but want to be achievers, forgetting that there is time to learn and time to serve before emerging a champion, adding that life was a process and jumping the process will end up in chaos.

She disdained what the youth term as smartness and hinged successful life on good parenting and good schools where children get orientation. Chief Executive Officer of Health ASSUR Limited, Dr Femi Duduyemi, said it is imperative to discover the ‘king’ embedded in everyone.
