ICSAN opens new entry opportunities for professionals, inducts new members
The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), has created a new concession that opens admittance of special category of top-notch professionals into its fold.
Referred to as ‘Membership through the Executive Route’, the institute said it is the first time those who have passed through the unique vista of executive route are inducted alongside the regular inductees of the institute, who yearly are admitted into the membership cadres of graduates, associates and fellows.
The President and Chairman of Council, Samuel Kolawole, who stated this during the 18th induction ceremony, said since the 53 years of existence of the institute, this was the first time they were admitting members through the executive route.
According to him, the set of professionals that enjoy the unique opportunity comprises those who have attained topmost level in the fields of corporate secretarial practice and corporate governance through many years of diligent and meritorious professional service.
He said the applicants were inducted alongside regular inductees, after they successfully undergone special training prescribed for them by the Council.
