Lagos empowers youths in POS business
The Lagos State Coordinator for MoneyAgent, Adetunji Muyideen Adebowale, has said over 300 youths in Alimosho area of the state have been empowered with the Point of Service (POS) business.
He said this was part of efforts to curtail idleness among the younger generation.
He said to sustain the country’s political atmosphere, the youths must have alternative sources of living, the reason the Lagos State Government was engaging youths in the financial sector.
Adebowale, who seeks to contest for political office in 2023, called on the youths to fight against bad politicians by participating actively in politics.
When asked how he would merge his bank agency and his political career, Adebowale said, “Parliament is not a full- time business. It is unfortunate many people in this part of the world have made it a full term job. When Obama finished his tenure, he went back to his business. So, that is how it should be. It is not a do or die affair.”
