PressOne Africa, a fast-rising telecommunications company transforming business communication for African small and medium enterprises (SMEs), has officially appointed Kelvin Elamah as its new Head of Media, Content, and Publications. This strategic addition signals the company’s bold commitment to storytelling, brand clarity, and deeper engagement across the continent’s growing small business ecosystem.
Kelvin joins PressOne with nearly a decade of experience at the top of Nigeria’s digital media landscape. Most notably, he spent eight transformative years at Pulse Nigeria, where he rose from a video intern to become the Head of Video, helping to shape the platform’s visual storytelling and content strategy during a pivotal period of digital evolution in West Africa. Under his leadership, Pulse Nigeria saw landmark video campaigns, increased audience interaction, and consistent growth in brand presence.
His reputation as a digital visionary is grounded in his hands-on experience. Over the years, Kelvin has mastered every layer of digital content, including production, scripting, distribution, and optimisation, earning the trust of peers and audiences alike. At PressOne Africa, he brings this robust expertise to craft and lead a content strategy that not only informs but elevates how the company communicates with its user base.
“This next chapter is both humbling and exciting,” Kelvin said. “Leaving Pulse, where I grew, learned, and thrived, was no easy decision. I’m forever grateful to the amazing team there who believed in my vision and gave me room to grow. But the warm welcome I’ve received at PressOne already feels like home, and I’m more than ready to pour my experience into building something even greater here.”
In his new role, Kelvin will guide PressOne’s media and publication strategy, deepen the brand’s voice across platforms, and lead a team committed to making PressOne the premier communication solution for African SMEs. With a unique ability to blend creativity, structure, and strategy, Kelvin is expected to play a key role in expanding the brand’s influence both locally and across the continent.
His appointment isn’t just a new hire, it’s a signal. PressOne Africa is investing in people who understand how to translate vision into voice, content into connection, and brand into business growth. For a generation of entrepreneurs navigating the fast-evolving digital economy, the story Kelvin is helping tell could be the one that helps them scale.
