The Next Titan Nigeria begins online bootcamp

Having completed auditions, Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurial reality TV show, The Next Titan is set for its Top 50 online Bootcamp.
 
The online auditions of the Season 7 ended last week with applications from young aspiring entrepreneurs from different regions in Nigeria. 
 
The audition, which held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, showcased young aspiring entrepreneurs with outstanding business ideas, and promises for the future.
 
The bootcamp, which began from 3rd spanning till 9th October, will continue to search for the best top 25 intelligent and aspiring entrepreneurs with great business ideas immune to any pandemic, and 16 finalists that will make it to the Titan House for a battle of 10 weeks on TV.

While in the house, the budding entrepreneurs will be divided into two teams to tackle a business task- led by their supervisors. After completing each task, both teams return to the weekly boardroom to discuss their experiences and give their report before the board of judges, and in the boardroom, a team will be declared a winner or a loser. The winners will be rewarded with a treat while the losing team will nominate some of their colleagues for eviction, and this process with arguments that follows, will enable the board of judges to evict at least one of the candidates from the competition. 
 
The eventual winner of The Next Titan Season 7 will walk off with N10,000,000 to start or support their new or existing business. 
The 10-week entrepreneurial reality TV show, which is in its 7th season has always maintained its mission to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship in the hearts of people by having them go through a life changing experience “The Next Titan” and supporting the winner with startup capital on his/her business. 

This present generation of Africans need inspirations, mentors and story tellers who will be the symbols of hope to them in order to achieve and maintain the building blocks of the economy.

Speaking during the auditions, the Head of Corporate Communication, Heritage Bank, Fela Ibidapo, said: “the bank who are the headline sponsor, has continued to support the project, because it is associated with the development of young people through small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) and has curbed the high level of unemployment in the country. 
 
He noted that the bank supported this initiative because of its belief in Nigerian youth, who make up about 80 per cent of the country’s population. 
 
He explained that the Bank was impressed with the nature in which talents were sought out, the rigorous selection process and the integrity with which the overall scheme was delivered.
 
Fela expressed satisfaction in the long term sustainability of the initiative, stating, we will not support something that will not stand the test of time.
 
Mrs Ifeoma Ilesanmi, an associate sponsor, who has been the active General Manager of Haven Homes since 2017, also expressed her delight on being part of Nigeria’s foremost entrepreneurial reality Tv show. 
 
She said: “We are proud and happy to make impact in the lives of youths in the society and we hope to keep supporting the brand.”
 
Executive Producer, The Next Titan, Mide Akinlaja, said the idea behind the next titans is to create a Nigeria of our dreams, the roll calls of entrepreneurs with businessmen and women who will boost the nation’s economy and become employers of labor. It is not just an ordinary show but a show that transforms lives.”
 
The Next Titan would premier on the 18th of October and the grand finale would be on 20th of December.
