Universal Insurance Plc. has bagged the 2022 PEARL Awards for Listed Company with Highest Earnings Yield.The underwriter was announced the winner by the organisers of the award at a ceremony held in Lagos.
  
The Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of the company, Ben Ujoatuonu, who appreciated the company’s board, management and staff, said the feat remains a call for more work.
  
Commenting, President, PEARL Awards, Tayo Orekoya, said this year’s awards with the theme ‘Sustaining Excellence Through Tenacity (SETT), reflects the current realities of the PEARL Awards, corporates and capital markets both locally and globally.
 
He said the body recognised and rewarded key players in the capital market with outstanding performances despite headwinds.
