After his God Of Alert, Yungsam in Blessings, Fine
The management of One World Global Records has unveiled its latest artiste, Yungsam, real name, Emomotimi Samuel. The upcoming artiste’s unveiling held at a colourful ceremony in the label’s office in GRA, Apapa, Lagos recently.
At the event, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of One Global, Prince Nkem Onyenwenu, disclosed that he discovered the budding artiste in January 2018, during one of the yearly street jamz in Apapa, where he took a special interest in him, “because of his talent,” adding, “I decided to sign him on my music label.”
The Delta-born indigene, who was raised in Ajegunle, got a Range Rover Sport Utility Vehicle last year as birthday gift from Onyenwene.
The One World boss said, “Yungsam is a young talented artist who is trying to take his career to the next level and we are ready to give him the desired encouragement.”
On his part, the artiste stated that it was God’s grace that he met his sponsor, Onyenwenu, after years of toiling on the street.
Promising to do more this year to satisfy his teeming fans, the artiste said, “I’m ready to release my first album this year.”
Yungsam, who has released some exciting singles with accompanying videos, has had some collaborative works with such artistes as, Slimcase, Oritsefemi and Divine B of Uganda.
His first single was God of Alert. He came to limelight after releasing a massively rated track, Komando, which featured Slimcase. He recently released two new hits titled, Blessings and Fine.
Blessings is a beautiful melodious song that focuses on the early struggle of the young artist and how God has blessed him. The song also points out the aspiring blessings he wishes for each and every Nigerian. It was produced by R-JAY, while Fine is a lively song that talks about a love struck Yungsam, who wants the world to know the level of beauty his baby has. It also sheds light on how the girl makes him feel and what she does to him. The song was also produced by R-JAY.
