The children novella was dedicated to the Lagos State commissioner of police Zubairu Muazu
Muazu while delivering his speech at the book launch called on parents to cultivate reading habit in their homes because that is the first training place for a child.
He also stated that with adequate training and exposure to good books like Alibaba’s Adventures he is optimistic that cultism and other vices in the society will reduce.
“If you read books like Alibaba’s adventure Aby Uche you will know what it takes to train a child,” Muazu said.
“The book is good for our children because it will help them to be responsible in the society,” he added.
Dominic affirmed to the commissioner’s advice stating that he learned how to write at a young age from his father.
“When I was growing up my dad punishes me to read the newspaper. This built my vocabulary and writing skills,” Dominic said
He said his next book will be larger than previous ones which will focus on prison life and other vices in the society.
