Book on positive attitude launched
A new book Why A Positive Attitude Is All You Need: Your Cornerstone To Success has been launched in Lagos. According to the author, Matthew Ogieva, the book is meant for everyone who wants to fulfill life’s goals and visions, noting that positive attitude is a skill which anyone can develop provided there is right training.
He said, ‘‘Attitude influences our everyday life including personal and business relationships because it is the first thing that can easily be observed by others when they are dealing with us.’’
Speaking at the book launch held at Civic Center, Victoria Island, Lagos, last weekend, the author said, “Attitude is the decider of our success in life. What guarantees success is positive attitude not just hard work. The country will not help us; we must help ourselves through positive attitude.
Success is a science. When you focus on attitude, you will discover success. This book is a product of 13 years research. The production of the book alone took two years because of paucity of funds to produce the world-class quality that we had in mind.
“But we eventually got what we wanted-great content, first class print. It is a book for everyone who desires success in life. When you get a copy for yourself, also get for others as well because you will be impacting their lives positively.’’
According to the author, regardless of any challenges we may or may not have encountered in life, nothing will ever replace the idea of working on goals that are geared towards helping us fulfill our vision in life.
‘‘Hence the reason why the book and ebook Why A Positive Attitude is All You Need has been written to guide readers towards fulfilling this purpose. Success is not what you have achieved but what you have conquered. People talked about failure, I’ve experienced it before but I overcame it through positive attitude.’’
Also speaking at the event, the book reviewer, Mr. Taiwo Akinlami, said the only disability in life is attitude because everything in life rises and falls on the quality of our mindset.
