The Synergy Southwest Awards 2025 held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, brought together dignitaries, entertainers, and innovators from across the region for a night of glamour, recognition, and celebration.

The event, which took place over the weekend, featured several award categories honouring individuals and organisations who have made outstanding contributions in business, youth empowerment, leadership, media, and entertainment.

One of the high points of the evening was when a lucky winner drove home a brand-new car, alongside other prizes presented to deserving awardees.

The ceremony also recognised notable figures, including the Director-General of the National Sports Commission, and other distinguished personalities for their commitment to development and excellence within the Southwest.

The night featured live musical performances by Barry Jhay and FemiLevite, alongside comedy acts and stage performances that kept the audience entertained. The red carpet segment, hosted by Twinnex, and co-anchored by Omotomilade and Essie Talker, added glamour and sophistication to the event.

In his address, Convener of the Synergy Awards, Kazeem Adewale, expressed appreciation to sponsors and partners for their continuous support and contribution to the success of the initiative. “The Synergy Awards isn’t just about recognition; it’s about connection — a platform that unites the Southwest under one roof to celebrate brilliance, purpose, and creativity,” Kazeem said.

This year’s edition was supported by Freshest Bread (headline sponsor), South Kitchen & Lounge, DND Travels & Tours, and Oshus Freight, who sponsored several award categories.

Now in its sixth year, the Synergy Southwest Awards has continued to grow as one of the region’s most prestigious recognition platforms, celebrating innovation, excellence, and the collective spirit of progress across Southwest Nigeria.
