MediaTank set to thrill youths with Grillfest Gidi

MediaTank, one of the nation’s foremost entertainment companies, is set to hold the third edition of its yearly event tagged, ‘GrillFest Gidi’ on December 10 and 11.

MediaTank, one of the nation’s foremost entertainment companies, is set to hold the third edition of its yearly event tagged, ‘GrillFest Gidi’ on December 10 and 11.

Holding at the African Church Primary School, Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos, the event, which will be organised in collaboration with Ifako Ijaiye Local Council will serve as avenue to showcase youths positively impacting their communities in different areas of the state in music, comedy, small scale businesses, theatre, among others.

With theme, The Outsiders, the company media head, Adesina Kasali, disclosed that the initiative suffered some setbacks because of COVID-19 pandemic that prevented it from holding last year, adding that MediaTank is posed to host the first of its kind this year at a local council level.

According to him, over 5,000 youths across the state will be in attendance, while artistes including, Oxlade, Dai Verse, Eljay, MoGevson, Shorae Moore, Jaido P, Jordan Styls, TerryApala, Beambo Taylor Hardvantage, among others will thrill guests.

Apart from music artistes, Nollywood stars including Adeniyi Johnson, Shoneye Olamilekan, Esther Agunbiade, Rotimi Salami, Tope Adebayo Salami, Habibat Jinad and others will also be in attendance.

Commenting on the event, Director General, Occupy Progressive Nigeria, Opeyemi Alabi, said apart from music, dance and comedy, the event will be used to showcase talents, expose the brands of young business owners, network and share ideas on how the youth can lead the country out of its current economic woes.
