A Nigerian Artiste, Oladapo Oyewunmi aka OlaDap has disclosed that his family background in Ifa worship informed his musical style.
OlaDap, who made this disclosure known to newsmen on Monday in Lagos, said one is expected to sing some Ifa worship songs even if one wants to be a singer.
Oyewunmi, who said he was more interested in hip-hop style, gave kudos to his Dad’s friend who puts him through and taught him different things about music.

The artist stated that he vowed to respect culture and tradition; Hence, the usage of his voice to speak to the youth out there so they could know that the culture and traditions still exist.
Speaking about his songs, Oladapo said he dropped his first single track ‘Aza’ in 2019 about how beautiful African queens are.
He noted that it is imperative to know that every African is blessed with every beautiful thing around them.
While touching on his first Ep titled: The Free Zone dropped in February 17th 2023, Oyewunmi said track 4 harps on vibes and fun of Africans in party mood.
OlaDap stated that his dream is to take afro beats to the next level, making this generation understands what culture is and what it takes to respect and represent your country/culture.
“My family background in Ifa worship informed his musical style.
“In my family, one is expected to sing some Ifa worship songs even if one wants to be a singer.
“But, I am more interested in hip-hop music. That is the reason I give kudos to my Dad’s friend who puts me through and taught me different things about music.
“Since then, I vowed to respect culture and tradition; Hence, the usage of my voice to speak to the youth out there so they could know that the culture and traditions still exists.
“I dropped my first single track ‘Aza’ in 2019 to talk about how beautiful African queens are.
