Nigerian fast-rising young star, AKINTHEFIRST, has found his footing on his single off his debut EP titled 7th generation.

The Super talented teenager, whose real name is Uthman Akinpelu, is a Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter, and performer based in Kano, Nigeria. In his art creation, he carefully weaves fine vocals, soothing riffs, and Africa’s soul into his music — creating vibes that are ear-friendly with amazing replay value.

The 20-year-old vocalist started his musical journey in 2017, with a vision to be a rap star, but AKINTHEFIRST actually found a balance in the gift of his dynamic artistry, while drifting in between Afrobeats, Trap, Emo/Cloud Rap and Afro-Pop.

His new single “LUST” off the “7th generation” EP, released on September 3, 2022, is currently the song of the week in afrobeat Nigerian Charts and is also making waves across the country. He is inching towards making a name for himself in the Afrobeats scene.

From backup vocals on BurnaBoy’s standout single “YE”, to songwriting credits on Asake’s EP, AKINTHEFIRST has managed to utilise his artistry to the fullest in such a short period of time.

The talented teenager, in his new song titled: “LUST” off his debut EP “7th Generation”, put in his pain with the sound.

“LUST” is an expression of committed love through the dedication of the ultimate romantic. The track sees an impressive rap singing switch from newcomer AKINTHEFIRST Produced by himself, “LUST” sets the tone and it is marked as song of the week.
