P.Voo returns with redefined Galala

Top act, Patrick Osagie Osakue, often referred to as P.Voo , has concluded plans to release his upcoming album in a grand style.

Top act, Patrick Osagie Osakue, often referred to as P.Voo , has concluded plans to release his upcoming album in a grand style. This album, a redefinition of galala music, he noted, is bound to chart a new course in Nigerian music composition, rendition and production.

He said the release of the work is to justify his long absence from the scene these past years.

Hear him: “I strongly believe in justification for whatever I’m doing. It must be done well or I don’t do it at all. I know that I have been off the scene for quite sometime. So, coming back years after without giving music lovers something to titillate them and to talk about for long, is not worth it. Honestly! Anyway, whatever the exclusive experiment, it (music) must be in line with modern day beats to confirm that I’m still in touch with music trend.”

The album, according to him, will be released in April. It is the modern galala brand, which P.Voo maintained took “my creativity, time and money, coming from Chief Eloka Agbasimelo a.k.a Oga ndi Oga, a true lover of music with a difference.”

The music entrepreneur, who friends call ‘Island real estate big boy’ said the multi million naira video, which will accompany the album release, is expecteed to be completed n the last week of March. It was shot in choice places across Nigeria.
