Nigeria born artiste Zikid Spiritual with real names Adekunle Abiodun Michael is a singer, producer and song writer with so much social media attention and love.

However, the rave about how his stage name came about, remains a story yet untold.

Born into the family of Mr & Mrs Adekunle in the early 1990s. He hails from Ondo state, Nigeria where he had his secondary school but early life in Abuja, Nigeria.

According to Zikid Spiritual, “when I was in secondary school, I use a particular bath soap then called zee, my friends always call me by that name and I replied saying spiritual. Not knowing this will eventually evolve into my stage name”

The norm in Nigeria is when an individual carries a name with an attachment of “Spiritual” many feel it could be for diabolical reasons, but he further cleared the air on how far his coined name is far from that thought. With the enormous social media attention he is getting from most popular Nigerian pages, Zikid has gotten lots of criticism and support.

Some of this criticism end up converting to the love for his craft in the music industry.

But this also puts him on the seat of envy as many feel his attention is money powered, especially as Zikid is an unsigned artiste.
