Tale2-CopyGCUE Promotions has announced the birth of her new event series, Tales from the days of Old: A Folktale Evening. It recently had its maiden edition in Yaba, Lagos, at a media launch and private showing at Niger Palace Hotel, Thorburn Avenue, on October 10. A series of dates, selection titles for tales and performers are to be scheduled accordingly.

Tales from the days of Old: A folktale evening is an evening of theatre, music, drama, social interaction and personal expression. It is a family friendly themed event with special emphasis on live performances. The launch included a storytelling session by Femi Famutimi, a storyteller and script developer.

Tales from the days of Old: A folktale evening is scheduled to have a series of performances by the production team and a wide range of performers. The Tale of Agbalujala, which was performed by a 10-man production team, will run for two weekends, on November 14 & 28 for a varied audience selection.
