Legendary country music singer and songwriter Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80, her family has announced.
Parton’s nephew, Bryan Seaver, who represented the Parton and Owens family, announced her death on social media on Tuesday, August 25.
The music icon, known for global hits including Jolene, 9 to 5 and I Will Always Love You, leaves behind a decades-long legacy in music, film, business and philanthropy.
The cause of her death has not been disclosed as of the time of filing.
