Four police officers have been detained following allegations that they demanded and collected ₦53,000 from the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, in Abuja.

The officers were reportedly taken into custody after the incident came to the attention of relevant authorities, with investigations now underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged extortion and determine appropriate action.
