Bank Launches Season 8 Promo

DIAMOND Bank, last week in Lagos, kicked off its Season 8 Diamondxtra promo in Lagos with an upward review of the emolument that would be given out to consumers.

Head, Consumer and Privilege Banking, Aishah Ahmad, said that principally, the promo was meant to promote savings and reward loyal customers, with over N4b and 4,000 people benefiting from the scheme.

On his part, Head Mass Marketing, Osita Ede, said that when the campaign started in 2008, it was SavingXtra, but was changed to DiamondXtra in 2013, disclosing that 1,085 customers would benefit from the over N600m up for grabs in the Season 8.

He also said the number of winners that will emerge in the monthly draws has increased to 15 customers as against 12 that were rewarded in Season 7. “Every month end, 13 customers will win N1m each, a customer will win N2m and the luckiest customer will win Salary for Life, N100,000 every month for 20 years.”

He further stated that one of the additions for the Season 8 is regional quarterly draws in five zones of North, South-East, South-south, Lagos and West and in each of the regional draws, 41 customers will be rewarded, with 30 customers winning N500,000 each, 10 customers winning N1m and the luckiest in that category winning a brand new SUV.

“In addition to the monthly and regional draws, three special draws will also be held to celebrate various milestones during the year. The first special draw will take place in January 2016 to celebrate the New Year and 30 lucky customers will be rewarded with N1m each. There will also be a special draw for Diamond Woman, this season where ten female customers will be rewarded.”
