Schneider Electric secures deal to provide uninterrupted power to Eko Atlantic City

Schneider Electric has secured the deal to provide sustainable and uninterrupted power to Eko Atlantic City with focus on energy-efficient solutions. The firm announced this in a statement, noting that it plays a crucial role in securing 99 per cent electricity availability for the city’s businesses and residents.
It added that with Nigeria facing persistent power challenges, the collaboration between Schneider Electric and Eko Atlantic City is a significant step toward energy independence, economic growth, and a modernised urban future. As development continues, this partnership remains a blueprint for sustainable city-building in Africa.
Nestled in the heart of Lagos,Eko Atlantic City is positioned to become a thriving commercial and residential hub, designed to accommodate over 300,000 residents and attract an estimated 250,000 daily commuters. The city is redefining Nigeria’s real estate landscape by integrating smart technology and eco-friendly initiatives.
Through Eko Utilities Nigeria Limited, the city’s dedicated power provider, an independent electricity generation facility is under development.
